It has been so long since I was here !!

Hello everyone,
I hope everyone is having a wonderful year.

We went to Myrtle Beach for 8 nights,but only stayed 7 nights. The room door slammed shut on my husbands finger,the second day of vacation ,cutting finger,breaking nail & breaking finger ,called a tuft fracture.The doctor cut the nail off ,stitched the finger & then stitched the finger nail ,
back on ,but yesterday the nail fell off anyhow,so not sure if he will get another nail.

We did have a new back deck put on this summer,but not real happy with the workmanship,I expected better at a cost of over $4,000.00!!!

I guess I have been going through a depressed state that I didn't realize I was in !!
So many of my friends passed away this year,it is so hard to comprehend.

Better times ahead !!

Well,today,I did go to a wholesale Cash & carry show !! It was a much need outing.Found some very nice prim items. It actually has my mind turning now,so maybe I can get back on track. Maybe start enjoying life again,before it is to late !

It is a beautiful day in,Pa.

Hi everyone,it is suppose to be 83 degrees today,how wonderful. The wind is blowing,it is just perfect.
This has been an unforgettable year,so far!
I was sick in January,
My best friend Judy,died Feb.5,2010,
another in March ,
friends of ours,their daughter was murdered,by her policeman /husband,Retha's picture is at side.
the same week-end,another friend , of mine was murdered in NC by her husband ,
The same weekend my granddaughters best friend was killed in a car accident at the age of 15,
I was sick all of March til Apr. 5,
my best friend who died Feb.5,her husband died Apr.1,buried today!
It sure has to get better.
So yes,in deed it is a beautiful day.
I'am trying to stay upbeat ,but it sure is hard.
I have been trying to house clean to keep my mind off of things,today I swept,cleaned the oven ,yesterday cleaned windows.

Here it is Feb.7,2010 & I'am so sad

we got a terrible snow storm,Friday afternoon til Saturday afternoon,we got about 15 inches of snow,well,that isn't what makes me sad,

I lost 1 of my best dearest friends,Fiday at 2:53am. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh,we should never take those things for granted !! We should always make sure ,you check on them often & I must say,I haven't been doing that like I use too.
So now,I must try & remember all the wonderful things,Judy & I shared together.during her life.
Judy was a very humble person,she never had much in life (material things)but it never seemed to bother her,she always kept her faith ,even when she could not have children then after about 20 years of marriage,God blessed her with a daughter to adopt & 2 yearss later with another to adopt.Oh how happy she was .She did wonderful with them,she always made sure,that they had everything they needed.
The 1 when to Christian college,the other to nursing school. She made sure the girls got to see their real parents,when they asked ,but it did not work out for them that way.Now she has 4 granddaughters & 1 grandson,how delighted she was.
My dear friend I will miss you forever & never forget you ,dear Judy!! You have made my life richer just knowing you !!!! One day I pray to see you again !!

Wow,we did not

get all the snow they said we were going to get today/lastnight,thank goodness !! Unless it comes on later today !!.
Here it is January 8,2019 already !! I just wonder where the precious days go !! I sure hope everyone is having a wonderful January.I know the holidays are behind us,but you know that is all I can think about is what I can do for the next season,not sure it will work out ,but my mind is churning.This past Christmas/year,I was pretty down,I guess,I didn't think I was but,now I feel like a new person !! I didn't do hardly anything for the last Holidays,except cook & a little baking.Pray that is all different this year.
Couple things I would like to do:
scrapbooking,not sure I will do well,
I have to work on my genealogy,
Make some prims for gifts.
Most of all try & stay focused on the good.

Almost Christmas

What a wonderful thyme of year !!I just love the little ones being so excited !! Even though I have no little ones ,you see it others !!
The anticipation !! But we must remember to always keep Christmas in our heart everyday of our life !! Bless you all & Merry Christmas !

I hope everyone has been doing fine !!

We will be going to my granddaughter's/Ashtin for Thanksgiving ,so that should be a really fun day !! Remember she cooked for Easter !

I have not done much for Christmas this year so far,maybe I won't .I have not felt much like doing decorating.
I guess,I'am in a rutt !! It is lunch time & I'am still in my pajamas !
It is raining here today !

I must start getting to your blogs & trying to catch up & see how you have decorated so far.
Well leaving for now hope to get my blog lively again !Maybe then I will get lively !!

What a wonderful day

You know,today it is in the 60's and super beautiful !
The other week in Oct. we had about 5 inches of snow. The next Saturday we had flooding from rain.Then it started freezing weather again.This has been a strange sort of fall.

I wanted to Wish

everyone,a Happy Fall,I know I'am late,but the house fixing is getting to me,I guess ,because I have a hard time getting interested in anything !!
Cannot seem to get out of this rut ,I'am in ,so if anyone has any ideas please let me know.
I did enter some flowers & gourds in the local fair 3 weeks ago & I received a first place ribbon for my pink rose,and for my other flowers & gourds ,I received 3 thirds, 3 fourths & a fifth place ribbon.
Not to bad this is just my second year to enter ever !
The house is coming along .The pic above is the damage from storm,next when open,next with new brick,new windows,I will post more,that is just the damaged side.

Hello,Everyone ,things are looking up !!

I want you to know,that I found my grnddaughter in Germany.I emailed,yesterday & she emailed back.Then she sent me pictures,shown above.Just look at all the beautiful hair on my first great grandson.
Oh my what a beautiful family.
Get this,she was so excited to hear from me !! I thought I was the only one longing to know & see her .What a dream & a million prayers later can do .
Thank you all for the prayers. Thank God !!
As you know her name is Sharon Lee & her son is Kenneth,like her dad & my Ex. & I don't know her boyfriends name,yet.Will post when I find out !!

The insurance company is still dragging their feet ,But 2 things better is sure & improvement !!

Terrible Times

Oh my I'm having some terrible times right now!!
As you know we were away for pool tournament in Vegas ,well it stormed bad here when we were away ,I saw all the stuff blown over ,but my youngest daughter ,fixed everthing that blew off front porch (everything)bench,big birdhouses,,etc.My oldest daughter said it took her tree out in front yard,it was there 20 years.Didn't think anymore about it !
well my husband went up to the attic ,because he heard birds & they were all through the attic.
You know I live in a old brick house from 1800's ,that we put every cent of my husbands retirement money in to fix up ,stupid of me but we did,anyhow while he was in the attic,he saw the wall was leaning in ,that was how the birds got in .He told me it still didn't sink in ,then on Tuesday he said you have to check this out,we went outside & I could have cried the whole side of house from upstairs bedroom to rook line is in about a foot & ready to fall!! I'am just sick ,called a contractor,he said it could fall & to call insurance co. right away,I did,that was Thursday & I called again Friday & I still haven't heard from them. Insurance agent said he would call over the week-end,because they had a lot of problems from the storm !!
The contractor came today ,said it would be $14,880 ,to fix the house .


Then to top it off,my dd/Vicki called at 6 am,Saturday & said my son whom is 42 years old was arrested for DUI ,again & this time he had 5 bags of marijuana & smoking pipe !! Now he will probably go to prison,because this is probably 4 or 5 times to be caught for DUI .
I'am just sick !!
I thought I taught him better .

Last month his daughter tried to commit suicide over a boy,she got caught shop lifting & driving without license,drugs,fighting in school & this is a girl that looks like a model .

On top of this my dd /Vicki,told me her dads wife,told everyone at work that her granddaughter was coming from Germany ,to see her,because she wants to meet her grandparents !! How dare she pretend to be me,The girl doesn't speak English,she will never know !! What the ----------,
it is my granddaughter whom I have never met she will be 20 this summer & her name is Sharon ,her mom named her after me,how dare they not tell her we are divorced.
not tell her the truth,well I'm totally sick now !!
This is my son's daughter,also .

So ,I tried to call her mom today in Germany & the number is from 1989 & I can't get through ,anyone have any ideas on how to find her ?
I have a terrible headache !!

Hello Everyone !

I have been away from the internet for awhile.
I was ill for awhile & had to have my gall bladder removed April 29 th. ,feeling much better,now .

Then my husband was in a pool tournament in Las Vegas,so we were there for 8 days.
It was 104 there & here it is raining & 58 degrees.
Then you come home to all the mounds of wash,3 pets (dogs) that you must play with ,because they are wondering why you abandoned them for all those days (10),then you have all the weeds to pull & lawns to mow at 2 houses,etc. you all know the drills !
Keep your fingers crossed,I think the other house is sold (well more like giving it away at what we owe,to get rid of double bills ) it is just to much when you are retired
&
we settle by June 26 !!YEAH !!

Then Memorial Day picnic,couldn't miss that !!

My oldest daughter ,Teree had a birthday Sunday,she turned 45 & well,guess what ?
I thought about it Saturday & forgot it on Sunday & I even talked to her,on the phone,how dumb was that ? Hopefully she forgives me !!

My husband is baking sugar & oatmeal cookies ,because the youngest granddaughter asked him to make her sugar cookies,she loves them .

Rain

Well,yesterday we had rain all day & it was 43 degrees at 12 noon.

Today it is raining again & it is 44 degrees at 10:06.

Sure wish it would warm up,not super hot maybe 60 would be nice.

I haven't done much outside this year,weather not helping.At least that is my excuse.
Last week,1 day I did manage to redo the one flower bed,removed the rocks & put plastic down,then put them back ! Hope it keeps the weeds down.
Another day I cleaned up debris & weeded the daylily bed,that is all I have done this season !

It just amazes me that the flowers aren't growing ,but the weeds are !!!!LOL
Today,I'm just doing ,LOL very little !
